History and objectives of BDI Solemanpur-Kotchandpur Fund
This fund was established in the late 1999s and early 2000s with the generous contributions made by a few individuals concerned with the well-being of the people living in the Solemanpur-Kotchandpur area of Jhinaidah district of Bangladesh.
These generous individuals have all along been sympathetic towards the policies and activities of BDI and the overall socio-economic progress of the developing countries of the world, especially Bangladesh. In the past, they have contributed articles to the BDI Journal Thoughts & Initiatives. The money donated by these individuals in the years 1999 and 2000 was earmarked towards the establishment of this BDI Solemanpur-Kotchandpur Fund dedicated to ensure the well-being of the people of Solemanpur-Kotchandpur of Jhinaidah District, Bangladesh. The BDI Solemanpur-Kotchandpur Fund is invested in Bangladesh.
