Bangladesh Development Initiative (BDI) is organizing a two-day international conference to generate new ideas and strategies for transforming Bangladesh into a prosperous nation in the early decades of the 21st century.
The conference will explore the challenges and prospects for political and development policies and their implementation in Bangladesh. Planned in partnership with the Institute for South Asia Studies and the Chowdhury Center, both at the University of California, Berkeley, the conference is scheduled for November 6th – 8th (Friday – Sunday), 2015 at the Clark Kerr Center on the UC Berkeley campus.
Scholars, educators, students, policymakers, industry leaders, social entrepreneurs, research and development organizations are invited to submit papers and ideas for panels broadly related to the conference theme.
